School's Out For Summer

Yay! I made it through the year! Today was the last day of school and I'm ready for some peace and quiet. I am going to miss my "babies," as I call them, but I'm not going to miss the tattling, hitting, potty accidents, (yes, potty accidents!) cleaning up vomit or the noisy lunchroom! I will miss the sweet hugs and kisses and the fantastic artwork my kids can do! I really had a great class this year, which is not something a teacher will just say. All of my parents were great, and the kids were, too! It was my first year as the Preschool Director and having to deal with DHR, so I'm sure next year will go even more smoothly... I hope! Anyway, today was a kind of bittersweet day, since I'm glad to have a break, but I know that I won't see half of my class again because they're going to kindergarten in public schools. However, I do know that the other half will be back next year, and some even in my room. I really do love these guys, and can't wait to get started with my new class for next year! Well, I guess I CAN wait, and I do need a break, but I do anticipate a great year next year! Below are some pictures of my babies from this year.
